Cappanalea which is situated on the picturesque shores of Caragh Lake and located in the heart of the famous Ring of Kerry, offers a wide range of adventure sports. The modern purpose built centre, sitting on it´s 55 acre site is the ideal base for the outdoor activities. Within Cappanalea´s immediate environs, the rugged unspoilt wilderness includes - the Macgillycuddy Reeks (Ireland´s highest mountain range); the Lakes of Killarney; Rossbeigh Beach and the Dingle Peninsula.

Cappanalea´s professional staff offer full instruction in both single or multi activity courses. All specialist equipment is provided by Cappanalea, ensuring that your holiday is safe enjoyable and memorable. The outdoor adventure sports, (Both land based and water based) offered at Cappanalea can be tailored to meet individual preferences.

Adventure Camps

Cappanalea has over 11 yearas experience in the provision of Summer Sporting Camps for children. The week-long holidays give young people (aged 13 - 17 years) an opportunity to participate in a safe and varied outdoor adventure programme. Courses include a range of activities; Canoeing, Windsurfing, Field Studies, Bouldering, Orienteering, Fishing, Hillwalking, Rockclimbing, Camping, and Educational Tours

The activities offered are instructed by qualified personnel and throughout the week the students are supervised by resident staff.
